This week at the US Open, the @usta will honor Patricia “Trish” Bostrom as a 2025 Champion of Equality. In 1971, with no women’s varsity team at the University of Washington, she challenged the school to let her try out for the men’s team, opening doors for future generations and helping lay the groundwork for Title IX.

Her recognition comes during the women’s semifinals on September 4, marking both her legacy and the 75th anniversary of Althea Gibson breaking the color barrier in tennis.

Conceptualized while living in Vienna, the Crescendo collection from client @lulyyangcouture, is a sartorial tribute to the romance and rhythm of a city steeped in sound.

From classical to jazz to the pulse of electronic beats, each piece channeled a different movement through custom prints, rare textiles, and draping techniques as refined as a symphony.
